On the way to take my grandson to school, we placed a mobile order through the app for three Sausage McMuffins with no egg clearly noted on the order. My grandson has an egg allergy, so were always careful to double-check. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time this location has made this mistake, but today we didn't check before leaving (my mistake for trusting it this time). After dropping him off at school, my grandson called to say all three sandwiches had egg on them. I pulled over, checked the order, and confirmed it was placed correctly no egg on all three. He sent me photos showing the mistake. I drove back to McDonalds, showed them my receipt and the photos, and the employee simply said, So I put egg on them. I explained again that he has an allergy and cant eat them. Her response was, Then get the sandwiches. I told her I wasn't going to drive all the way back to the school, get the food, and come back again when this wasn't our mistake. She just repeated that next time I should bring the food back. I understand mistakes happen, but the lack of concern or accountability especially with a food allergy involved is unacceptable. We've ordered from this location many times, but after todays experience, I don't think well be back.
