Every time I have been to a Capital One Cafe (in multiple locations), there wasn't a bathroom provided, or it was being cleaned or out of order, and I had to run to the bathroom for simply two minutes--or one time, I snuck out for two seconds to use the water fountain--and left my laptop as I was doing important work to which I wanted to resume. And each time someone came over to where I was sitting and lectured me about leaving my stuff unattended. It was extremely uncomfortable and embarassing. What if I had a medical condition that required instant bathroom access? Did they think I was some homeless person, or worse, a security threat? I felt VERY UNCOMFORTABLE around these people.

Account holders of any Capital One product (18+ years of age or older) can reserve semi-private nooks available within almost every Café.

How do I bank at a Capital One Café?
Capital One Cafés offer a modernized, friendly approach to banking that provides a low pressure way to get support. While we don’t have traditional bank tellers in our Cafés, customers can use our self-service options to get everyday banking done., even on the weekend. Ambassadors are on hand to assist you along the way with your banking questions, and can even help you apply for an account. Capital One Checking account holders can use Café ATMs fee-free to check their balance, deposit or withdraw cash, make credit card payments and more. Come in for everyday banking–stay to enjoy a handcrafted beverage. You can also:
- Replace, reissue or activate your debit card
- Lock and unlock your debit card
- Change your debit card PIN
- Receive sign-in support
- Update account information like your address, phone number and email address
- Place or remove a stop payment on a check or ACH
- Request duplicate tax forms be mailed to you
- Order a checkbook

Yes, there are self-service ATMs available at all Cafés that are fee-free to Capital One customers. You can use them to deposit cash, deposit checks, pay your credit card bill and more. Not a customer? There’s a small fee to use the ATMs.
Can you reserve space at the Café?
Account holders (18+) can reserve a nook—a private workspace with tables and outlets—when they’re in the Café or from their Capital One mobile app. When in the Café, visitors can scan the QR code on the door of the nook to access the reservation portal to complete their booking. As of December 2024, account holders can make reservations in the Capital One mobile app by searching for their preferred Café, viewing the details of that Café and selecting "Reserve a Nook" to access the reservation portal.
