  I had dinner here tonight with my husband and another couple and we all LOVED it. What an amazing experience. The food was a work of art. The ingredients fresh and delicious, and the presentation outstanding. The service was excellent. The servers were so well trained and knowledgeable about each of the courses presented. I would like to mention one of our servers named River who was fabulous. What a memorable night. We will be booking at the chefs table next time. I highly recommend Valle for an all around amazing foodie experience. (The restaurant is also beautiful inside and patio is warm and inviting)

  What an incredible place. The food is phenomenal, sure, but what really got me was the atmosphere and the service. Exceptional!

  I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience at Valle in Oceanside warrants one. The issue was not the food. It was the service and how the situation was handled. We were told seating was first come, first served and that we were first in line when we returned. Following staff instructions, we ordered drinks while waiting for a table. During that time, we were asked whether we were “only having drinks,” even though we clearly stated we were waiting to order dinner. Shortly after being told we were next, another party of three took a four person table without staff intervention. Instead, we were moved to a table described as designed for three guests, while the other group remained at the larger table. A manager approached us twice to emphasize the table size and later spoke to nearby staff while pointing toward our table. It was noticeable and uncomfortable. When a server finally took our order, the first words were, “So what are you going to eat?” The tone was abrupt and impatient. When food arrived, only three plates were provided for four guests, and requesting an additional plate was met with visible irritation. After we asked for the check, we suddenly received smiles. When we expressed interest in dessert, the attitude immediately shifted back to cold and dismissive. The restaurant automatically adds a 20 percent service charge. Based on this experience, the service did not justify it. If this one star represents anything, it reflects the service. If zero were an option, that would be more accurate. We did order drinks and food (photos attached). We were genuinely excited to experience a Michelin-recognized restaurant, but left feeling disappointed. I hope future guests do not have a similar experience.

  Amazing experience dining at the Chef's Table! The food was excellent and it was interesting to see how everything is prepared. I was surprised with how calm and quiet the kitchen was. It ran like a well-oiled machine. Chef Roberto was a charming host and made us feel at home.

  It was an experience that transported me to Valle de Guadalupe. The flavor of every dish and drink was unique, and the service was incredible, I had never been treated so well at a restaurant. I highly recommend that you go and experience it. I will definitely be back, since they mention that they change the menu every few months.
