Super chill vibes, good prices, and if you pay cash, you even get a discount (yes please!). I got the salmon skin salad and it was large and in charge. My kiddo went to town on the bento box, so it’s officially in the rotation. Fast, friendly, and totally solid when you need your sushi fix.

- ZZZWRJun 12, 20254.04.5 Stars. Quiet, cozy restaurant. Friendly staff. Very good food and LOTS to choose from. Personally, I think the menus are overwhelming. I almost always order the bentos or sashimi over rice. GoGo Japan doesn’t offer katsudon, tonkatsu, or a few other traditional Japanese dishes I like. A few years back I tried the yakisoba. Big mistake. For traditional Japanese sushi rolls I go to Kyoto’s Japanese Market off Greenbrier in Oceanside. On Fridays and Saturdays. Very authentic. As for GoGo Japan, it’s one of the only Tri-City area restaurants I will frequent for Japanese-style food.
