  Me and my family have always used to eat here but they gave us the wrong order last time and when we called they put us on hold for 15 minutes and never called back. The food quality has went from good to bland and the service was completely unprofessional

  I really love Felix's BBQ with Soul. I come here to eat at least once a month. On this particular visit, however, I was a little disappointed in my experience. The staff has always been extremely friendly and kind to me, attentive when taking my order, and continue to give me a great customer service experience. My struggle was with some of the food this time. They used to have an Alabama chicken tenders meal with 2 sides that I've ordered in the past. I believe that meal was discontinued a while back. I now had to order a huge side of the tenders ala carte (too much for a single meal) and order the sides separately with put my "chicken tenders meal" close to $30. The tenders were not like they used to be and came out quite measly and I did not expext to see that for $15 (see pic). I could have gone to Canes for heartier tenders at a much lower price. Additionally, not sure if the recipe changed, but it used to have a nice peppery kick to them that I liked, but that spice was no longer there. Not everything was disapppointing, however, as the highlight of my meal was the sides. The collard greens are SO full of flavor. They are savory, smoky, hearty with a nice kick of spiciness to them. And the pot liquor... Oh my gosh... All I can say is slammin!!! The black eyes peas are so good here too. They dont overcook so they get mushy, and don't undercook so they are mealy. Cooked just right with a rich savory flavor. Again, a nice balance of spicy notes make these your new years banger!! I love this place and will still continue to visit. It is just with hope that they step up their tender game again like it used to be and get them back on track!

  Ally is great. A+ for service and the food is even better. The catfish is fried perfection. Flaky, not overcooked not over breaded dusted with cornmeal, made to order. Fried chicken-best in the area! We drive from San Clemente and tried to find the best soul foo, trust us this is it! We have went to many places in LA and none have been as good as Felix’s. Love the collard greens, mac and cheese, sweet potatoes and hoppin John and the red beans and rice. Sweet tea 1/2 sweet and you feel like you are eating back in the south. Thank you for a fabulous New Year’s Day meal! Live music was a bonus.

  I could not be more disappointed in a place that was a go-to for me. I got a delivery that was dry, burnt pulled pork. Called Beverly, the manager to give a heads-up, not a complaint. Tried to order with a gift card tonight. Denied. Called again, as recommended by their app. Now Beverly is "too busy" to take my call. Unacceptable. They've lost a repeat customer.

  Been coming here since they opened this restaurant and they have been changing management a lot. I don’t know what’s going on now but it seems like every time I come in here. The waitresses always have an Attitude and always getting Orders wrong And food is not probably cooked all the way through customer service here sucks really bad. I don’t know if it’s because it’s the switch of management or every time I come in there is always a new employee.i will no longer be ordering from you guys if you order from here please check Your order
