  I've been enjoying Happy Family for years. I'm always well taken care of. Plates i frequently have are shrimp rolls, soup dumplings, house fried rice, house chow mein, three delights, kung pao chicken, mongolian beef, honey walnut shrimp, egg flower soup and hot & sour soup. Sometimes i do have to ask for a waiter for a refill or more steamed rice but i'm used to it. The staff are great people omce you get to know them. They all deserve good tips especially with the affordable cost of their large portions.

  Hands down one of the worst food experiences I’ve ever had a fried rice was barely just white rice with a little bit of chopped up chicken and some table onions I think it may be touch the walk maybe for two minutes the egg flour soup almost crystal clear with some egg whites whipped through it a little bit of table onions on it I asked for a cup. They gave me a serving for like six people. The combination chow mein had two pieces of shrimp a couple pieces of chicken, a couple pieces of beef enough noodles to feed like six people. All the food was very bland boring tasting my tab was $49 and I brought home enough food to feed three more people When I stood up to leave. The guy came to clean my table and grabbed my ticket and said excuse me the tip wasn’t included in your price and I turned around. I told him that I’m not leaving a tip. I seen my waiter one time when you brought my food out. Ask for extra napkins never received any thought. I’d try a new place to me. Very disappointed.

  Food was good. But the 2 guys there were super pushy about tip. They complain about me not leaving tip. Mind that this was for pick up.

  My family and my parents/siblings have been to Happy Family Chinese Restaurant in Montebello many times since 2012,, I will say that all the food there is VERY GOOD and plenty and healthy 👍,, I strongly recommend this restaurant 10/10 for sure
