    I am not gluten-free. I eat gluten as one of my primary sources of nourishment. Maldon's however, does not disappoint with their exclusive menu of gluten-free options. We started with the popover carousel, bread rolls topped with jam and butter atop a cast iron skillet. They were soft, sweet, mildly salty, and delicious. I had the short rib sandwich. The bread was a bit denser that usual but it worked well with the rib and the horseradish sauce. The fries were crispy, peppery, and hot. I finished my lunch with a hot café Americano. The service was wonderful. The decor was attractive and stylish, but not overwhelming.

    Be careful ordering To go from here. Multiple times I have ordered online for pickup and stuff is missing and management doesnt call you back to ensure refunds properly. My last order half was missing. That is alot. The 1st couple times its was extras i paid for missing like extra cream spread for cinnamon rolls. But this time it was actually meal items. Bread plate $9 and pumpkin bread $5 so not small $2 items . I tried calling and all day of the order the phone was off and giving busy signal. So I called again the next day got a nice gentleman but he couldnt help and a manager was supposed to call me back but no one ever called. But only the pumpkin bread was refunded to card with no call. This is why I stopped tipping when I order to go. Horrible service

    Couple weeks ago we drove 40 min specifically to have a late lunch here and at 3:34 and were told us the kitchen is closes at 3:30 pm. Shows 4 pm online and would allow an online orders (which she said they would cancel). I was told "sorry, the website was to be properly corrected tomorrow". A friend of mine was just there today and said it happened again to another couple. So I am putting this here so other folks don't waste their time an money (paid parking)- Seating closes at 3:30pm. Fix your website folks!

    I had the best gluten free biscuit of my life there, sooo yummy. The sourdough was very yummy but not very sour. The service was not baller but it might’ve been an off day.

    The food is amazing. Unfortunately, that’s the only good thing about this restaurant. I have dined in, ordered online, and ordered over the phone. Each time the restaurant is a disorganized mess. It takes forever to get someone to acknowledge you even when it’s slow. If you order online, the food isn’t ready when they tell you it will be. I called at 10am and it took them almost three minutes to pick up their phone. And most recently, I tried to preorder 3 orders of baked brioche rolls to be picked up. I called in, spelled my full name out, and paid for it all over the phone. I sent my partner to get the order for me. Again took forever to be acknowledged then they couldn’t find my order. After waiting about ten minutes, they claim they got my name wrong but they had my order. Except it wasn’t my order at all. They tried sending him home with one order of unbaked rolls. He went back and told them the order was wrong and it should be three orders. Turns out they either gave away my order or they never made it at all. They made my partner wait another 20 minutes so they could roll out the rolls and I still had to bake them at home after I specified I wanted them baked. He ended up waiting at the restaurant for a total of 45 minutes when he was just there to pick something up. As someone with celiac, I was beyond excited about this restaurant and the quality of the food is amazing. However, after this experience, I will never be back.
