Even if they were packed I would highly recommend, especially after a shopping trip to the nearby stores. Service and recommendations by Sarah R complimented the mood and food. I washed up in the clean and large restroom, and just logged into my laptop and the soup already arrived. The rain had scared everyone away and I was the only one there, so the food came out fast, hot, and very flavorful. The soup was a small here but could have been a large other places. The avocado was ripe, chicken was moist and shredded beautifully, and the cheese and veggies held everything together. The birria tacos were much larger than I expected also. The melted cheese in the soft corn tortilla held a large amount of tender and shredded well spiced meat. The small amount of pickled onion and jalapeño, with the fresh lime and radish balanced it out. The juice was so good I had to look around for no one to be nearby and drank some.

The hospitality overall was top-notch, and the service was prompt from start to finish. My mom ordered the tostada, and I had the enchiladas Banderas — both were absolutely delicious! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can really tell they put care into both the food and the experience. Highly recommend Mauricio’s if you’re looking for great food and excellent service. I’ll definitely be coming back!
