I walked to this location before heading to the library and spent about $13 on a four-piece chicken tender meal with one dipping sauce, potato wedges, and a biscuit. First impressions matter a lot to me, and unfortunately, this one wasn’t great. The first bite I took was from the potato wedges, and it was really disappointing—they weren’t cooked through and were completely cold. That’s a huge letdown when you’re hungry and looking forward to a hot meal. I haven’t gotten to the chicken tenders yet, but I’ve had them here before. They’re usually solid, but even then, one dipping sauce barely feels like enough for a 4-piece order (especially considering that I’ve nearly run out with just a 2 or 3-piece meal before). Overall, it just didn’t feel like the food was handled with care, especially the sides. When you’ve gone out of your way on foot or by bus to grab a meal, it’s really frustrating to end up with cold, undercooked food. I hope the quality gets better because this spot has potential, but my experience today left a bad taste.
