We went out with family and friends to The Lakehouse and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The service was incredibly slow, it took over 30 minutes just to get a drink. We even ordered our food at the same time as our drinks to try to save time, but that didn’t help at all.
When we started ordering, that’s when we were finally told that two of the items we wanted weren’t available. We completely understand that things run out, but it would have been helpful to be told earlier so we could decide on something else right away.
It really felt like our table was a low priority. Our server was slow, inattentive, and made us feel like we were an inconvenience rather than customers. The restaurant wasn’t even busy, which made the lack of attention very noticeable. At one point, another waitress was delivering a special plate of fries to other guests, and when we asked what it was, she told us we needed to “be nice to the server” to get them. We found that comment extremely unprofessional and strange.
Unfortunately, the food wasn’t any better. The kids’ pasta was undercooked to the point where the noodles were still hard inside, so my daughter couldn’t eat hers. We ordered the chicken Parmesan, and the underside of the chicken was burnt.
To end the night, it took another 30 minutes just to get our bill, and by that time there were only three tables left in the entire restaurant.
Overall, it was a frustrating experience from start to finish, and we were really disappointed given the potential this place could have.

I love this restaurant!! My boyfriend and I came here for lunch the other day and it was sooo good!! We ordered the brisket sandwich and a burger. Both were amazing the brisket was very juicy and delicious and my boyfriend says the burger was probably one of the best he’s had from a restaurant! We also had dessert, he had the cheesecake and I had the caramel pudding, both were delicious. The service was also amazing. It looked like she was the only person serving at the time in a full restaurant but we were still treated with much kindness and prompt service! She is very good at her job! The atmosphere is also amazing, the log cabin style is very cozy and the view is great. The music was also really nice! Overall a great restaurant!

Went there for a burger with my girlfriend last night. Place was busy so when the fries arrived they were a wee bit cold . Talked to the bartender and no hesitation they brought me a full bowl of perfectly toasty French fries in a hurry! Great service. The team there work really well with eachother and creat an excellent atmosphere. Looking forward to going there again anytime.
