  2pm Mar 11, I went through the self-checkout. I needed to purchase a paper bag, but the attendant assigned to this area was far too busy and more interested in chatting up another cashier in a checkout lane than doing her job or helping customers. After waving her down and having a bag added to my bill, she told me that the sensor would go off and warn an unexpected item was in the bagging area if I put my paper bag down and instead asked me to put it on the tiny little ledge beside the scanning area. I had to actually ask her to go to her computer and override that alert and decline her lazy advice. She did... and then went right back to chatting up her little friend. Please retrain or reassign this girl. What a mess.

  I recently returned from Mexico last Friday and stopped by your store to do some grocery shopping. I used to come in every Friday morning around 9 a.m., and there was a young employee who would be filling shelves and tidying up. He always made my day with his positive attitude and strong work ethic. During my most recent visit, I noticed he was no longer there. His absence was noticeable, and it changed the atmosphere of my shopping experience. I am wondering whether he was fired or chose to leave. As a regular customer, I value employees who bring positivity and dedication to their work. If he was let go, I would be disappointed, as team members like him are a big reason I choose to shop at Save-On-Foods. I would appreciate clarification on the situation, as it may influence whether I continue shopping at your store.

  I've been shopping here for years. They have some really great employees. Jake is all around awesome... he can do any position. The meat manager (I think his name is Ryan?) is always running around offering advice or help. He tells me about specials and genuinely seems to love his love. It shows.
