My trip to Nanaimo starts here. The atmosphere was really great, it has the best look for a McDonald’s, for both inside and outside. But I don’t know why was it that crowded when I was there in an early weekend morning. The food was good but I wait for too long for ordering. By the way, I ordered a non-skimmed milk but I received a semi-skimmed milk at last, with no one told me it was out of stock or something

Been in the drivethrough packed full of cars and has not moved in 20 minutes and still waiting.
I never seen Mc Donald's take over 20 minutes for one car in the drivethru before.
There's so many cars I'm stuck here unable to back up, or go forward to just leave and go home.
What kind of trash is this?
There's nothing on McDonald's menu that would even take 20 minutes and counting, to make for one car in the drivethru and the workers clearly aren't busy taking orders either as the line isn't moving and the lobby is closed.
Are they on their breaks? This is insane.
Never again. Mc Donald's has completely outpaced inflation over the last decade, by almost three times what inflation is. Yet the quality has only gone down hill. Never again.

Our children are neurodivergent and this location advertised they were fully open. We showed up today for lunch and their play place is still closed for renovations. Zero communication about this and when you need to manage meltdowns, it makes things extra difficult. Management needs to do better.
