  Super mid. Been here a couple times because the kids like it found hair in my food one time. Burgers are frozen patties. Average at best

  Went to lunch At OJ’s Friday Dec 19th about 12pm. It was busy but not too busy, they had a couple servers and a bartender. We were sat right away and given water while we waited. We sat there 10/15 minutes before anyone else made contact with us. A table sat after us was served and drinking wine before our server came over. Once we ordered the food took a very long time to get to the table, once it arrived it was not hard to tell it had been under a light longer than it should have been. The server dropped the food and hardly said anything, basically threw it down and she was gone again. The burger buns were cold but despite that the rest was good. We weren’t checked on again until it was bill time. The sad thing is the food is usually really really good. But the service is ALWAYS like this. It’s slow and not a welcoming experience ever. It’s not a super busy restaurant so the lack of service is unfortunate. Not sure we will go back but if you don’t care about customer service or speed, the food is good, when it’s hot.

  Came by for what was supposed to be a special lunch a few days ago around 1:30. Arrived and ignored. Restaurant empty. Finally acknowledged by someone who needs to at least ACT like they are happy to see a customer. Seated and given some water and cutlery. Waitress came by and we ordered. 25 mins later our 2 meals came out. The SMALLEST 2 pieces of fish Ive ever seen—we actually thought for a minute maybe this was from a kid’s menu? Both pieces of fish totalled 8 average bites. Substituted green salad for fries and greens were mostly inedible as they had turned and gone slimy. My friend’s meal was mediocre and although she asked for no croutons in her salad, she got them anyway and had to pick them out. Our drinks NEVER arrived. Now….you may ask “did you complain, did you talk to the server or manager?” No I didn’t because we never saw a single employee again after the food was put down in front of us and the server immediately disappeared. No salt and pepper on the table, no ketchup for the fish. We got up and looked around to pay our bill and get out of there after 2 1/2 hours. Had to finally go to kitchen door window and wave to get attention. An unfriendly woman came out and I told her I wanted to pay—she asked if I had a bill? No I told her, we’ve had no service at all since our food arrived. She said she’d go find someone. We waited a few minutes and nothing. Well….we each had appts so I calculated what I approximately owed and left cash on the table. Lived in Kamloops for 21 years. Worst service and worst meal Ive had in this city, and we visit sit down restaurants probably twice a week.

  In at 1:48pm and didn’t get our food until 2:44pm. We did not order any appys at all. The hot food was cold. Ordered original burger with cheese and it came with mushrooms, no cheese. Ordered gravy with chicken strips and fries, got plum sauce and no gravy. Have a kids menu but no colouring/activity sheets for kids. Worst experience ever
