Got a simple Sausage and egg McMuffin and asked for a very simple no English muffin just a regular bun guy confirmed with me at the window watched him confirm over the headset with the kitchen still got it wrong. I've worked there its not that hard. Everything about this McDonalds has gone downhill workers and management.

ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE
This was honestly one of the most humiliating and upsetting food experiences I’ve ever had.
I have serious allergy restrictions, which I clearly explain every time I order. Somehow, this location still manages to get my order wrong again and again — and instead of taking responsibility, the staff act angry and hostile when they’re asked to fix their own mistake.
The worst part? When I returned an unsafe wrap, they didn’t remake it. They picked ingredients out of the food I handed back and tried to give it to me again. That’s not just lazy — it’s disgusting, unsafe, and dangerous. Anyone with allergies knows that contamination doesn’t magically disappear because you remove a topping.
When I asked for a refund because I couldn’t safely eat the food, I was treated like I was doing something wrong. The situation escalated so badly that I was kicked out — not for being rude, not for causing a scene, but for refusing to accept food that could literally make me sick.
Being punished for protecting your own health is beyond unacceptable. This place clearly does not take allergies seriously and should not be trusted by anyone with dietary restrictions. If you value your safety, dignity, or basic hygiene standards, do not eat here.
The Only Thing Consistent Here Is the Disappointment
If you’re looking for a place where food is consistently made wrong, customer service feels like a personal attack, and the ice cream machine exists purely as a decorative rumour, congratulations — you’ve found it.
Every single time I order, it’s like playing a twisted game of fast-food roulette. Missing items? Of course. Wrong burgers? Standard. Cold fries that taste like they were fried last Tuesday? Practically a house specialty. I’ve honestly started checking the bag like I’m inspecting evidence at a crime scene.
Let’s talk about the legendary ice cream machine. You know the myth. You’ve heard the tales. It has apparently been “broken” since the dawn of time. I don’t even ask for McFlurries anymore because it just hurts too much to believe.
And somehow — somehow — after putting up with all of this, I managed to get banned. BANNED. From a place that can’t even assemble a burger properly. That alone should tell you everything you need to know about how chaotic this location is.
This McDonald’s isn’t a restaurant, it’s an endurance test. You don’t come here for food — you come here to lower your expectations for the rest of your life. Save your money. Save your sanity. Drive literally anywhere else.
McDonald’s should be embarrassed that this is how one of their locations operates.

I have never been treated this way at a fast-food restaurant before.
Over several visits to the Duncan McDonald's, my partner and I had to return our food multiple times because our orders were repeatedly incorrect. We were polite every time and simply asked for our correct items.
On our most recent visit, while sitting at the drive-thru window, we clearly heard an employee say, "they're here again." A manager then came to the window, acted aggressively, told us we were banned from the location, shoved our food at us, and told us to "get."
There was no calm explanation, no attempt to resolve anything professionally, and no respect shown at all. Being publicly talked about and then banned for wanting our orders made correctly was humiliating.
To make matters worse, I was given what was supposed to be a Jr. Chicken, but when I got home it was a cheeseburger inside a Jr. Chicken wrapper. I specifically asked the staff to doublecheck it - they opened the bag, looked inside, and said they had - yet it was still wrong. Obviously it was the wrong type of burger and the wrong type of meat, so they don’t really check when you ask them to, i was driving so i couldn’t really check myself. they don’t really care about allergies or diet restrictions. they are the only mcdonald’s ive ever been to where if you tell them they made the food wrong they ask for it back first in order to do a refund or exchange. i never really understand that at first because every other one ive been to on the island politely ask if you’d like to keep the order or if you specifically want them to throw it out since it’s their responsibility to serve proper orders to customers. i later realized the reason they ask for the food back is because they pick at it until they think you won’t complain anymore which not only is lazy, but it’s unsafe and violates a lot of food safety laws. i wouldn’t trust this place with my life to be honest i gave them multiple chances to correct things and their way of correcting things was banning me from the location for “returning orders too many times” which were incorrectly made to begin with. they told me that there was no lettuce in one of my wraps that very clearly had lettuce in it before i went into the store to have it corrected, and after. my girlfriend witnessed the lettuce in the wrap. they took the wrap from me and came back a minute later and said there was no lettuce in the wrap when there clearly was.
There also appear to be ongoing safety and security issues outside this location late at night and during the day, with people lingering(mentally unstable and not sober people) around the building, which made the entire situation feel even more uncomfortable.
Mistakes happen — but this level of hostility from management is completely unacceptable. This location seriously needs customer service training and accountability.

Something needs to be done about the drinks this place produces. They taste like they all come out of the same dirty tap. Every Diet Coke has hints of root beer and orange pop, if it’s even the right drink. If you’re diabetic I’d recommend probably never going here
