Unfortunately, I’m really not happy with this store. We were there in December while on vacation, and both my sister and I were shopping. Somehow, my debit card was charged without me ever tapping or authorizing it.
I immediately called the store and explained the situation, but they refused to issue a refund. I truly feel this was not my fault, and it’s frustrating that a large corporation wouldn’t do the right thing in a situation like this—especially when the charge wasn’t mine.
I’m a former small business owner, and even as a very small business, I would have refunded this without hesitation. Customer trust matters.
Because of how this was handled, I don’t recommend this store. We’ll be back in the area in January, but we definitely won’t be shopping here again.

Quality has gone downhill in produce and bakery. Always something(s) is very disappointing. Their breads except for bagels and artisan, are mostly like air. I've had to throw out lots of food that looked ok but was terrible or had rotten taste. Items on sale are out of stock next day, usually for a few days. Also all deli meats are prepackaged and can't be sliced thin or fresh. Fresh beef is tough and super high priced. Cooked and prepared foods/salads are pretty much awful, bad flavor and too many odd ingredients. The store seems more run by an odd eclectic nutritionist instead of having a more home cooked feel. Expensive too. More and more I'm preferring to drive extra miles to walmart or the one in Chino Valley, the only decent Safeway in N Arizona. Safeway in Flagstaff and Prescott are bad too. At least they haven't yet ruined frozen and pre-packaged foods.
