(This is specifically for the Starbucks inside Safeway.) This location is my best kept secret. Everyone is SO nice & they even gave me a Christmas card…! When I walk up, they already know I’m getting a grande Iced Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso. You all keep my mornings wonderful! Thank you, Starbucks employees!

Waited over 30min to get 1 pound of sliced pastrami with two people working in the back and only me and another customer where there. The first customer was ignoring me and just cleaning up every single slicer machine instead of just using an available clean one to get my order done with and then they could clean it really quick afterwards. Then the second employee was actually going to the front of the display meat case that the customers pick meat out from to open up brand new unopened meat containers every time the customer moved on to the next meat they needed. After 25 minutes of waiting for the second employee to get about 6 different types of new packages of lunch meat and opens them all up individually and the time to walk back in front to look at what the other customer wanted then to open the entire display case up in the front instead of the back. The first employee couldn't clean anymore machines and asked what I finally needed and I said one pound of pastrami please and then I said thin cut and then she kept asking, "Deli cut". Then I would say, "No just thin" and then they would just keep repeating the same question like 5 multiple times. They finally started cutting the meat and then they just stuck they're hand out in my face without looking at me holding the meat as if they're showing off the next greatest invention of butter or something idk. I was blown away by the lack of communication and help the other obviously new employee wasn't being helpful to the new second new employee and the first employee just wanted to clean available meat slicer machines instead of just getting my simple single meat selection order of one pound. Crazy lol go Team Safeway yay! Also I almost fell on my face by the meat department in front of the meat department like where the steaks are sold right next to the manager of the raw meat department and I stated that they should clean that spill up or put a wet floor sign and that I almost fell and broke my ankle. That manager just looked at me and ignored me.

The two gentlemen at the seafood counter were very rude. Didn’t want to help me. Almost like pulling teeth. All of this on Christmas Eve by the way. I’ll take my $ elsewhere.

Mobile Order Pick Up Review- Several times I’ve arrived to pick up a mobile order and had all the designated spots filled, today out of the 6 spots all were filled and only 1 car had someone in it the rest were filled with cars for non-mobile orders and I had to wait 5 mins for someone to come out with their Starbucks to get an empty spot. I understand waiting when there a line of mobile orders but NOT when inconsiderate people decide to take these spots and walk into the store. I mentioned this to the employee that delivered my order and she shared that she’s been complaining to management about this as well (it holds their work up as well) but she’s been told by managers that they’re not willing to tell people not to take the spots. Well if management isn’t going to do anything about this then I’m going to take my mobile orders to Fry’s. Although it’s out of my way and nearly always busy, the few times I’ve used them they operate a well oiled machine for mobile orders and every time I’ve been there all cars are filled with people waiting for their orders.
