  Went with a friend for an early dinner (during weekday happy hour) and was pleasantly surprised! Food was fresh, tasty, and presented nicely, and best of all the prices are very reasonable. The reason for this review, however, is the incredible service. The host was warm and friendly, and we had what I assume was a manager stop by towards the end of our meal to "check in." Our server, Heidi B., was honestly the highlight of the experience. She was so friendly, attentive, and thorough. I let her know of my dietary restrictions (I'm vegan) and she went above and beyond to recommend a custom dish AND ensure the kitchen was aware. She even reassured me as she delivered my meal. Very thankful for her and I hope management knows how much of an asset she is to the restaurant!

  Wow 🤩 how did I not know about this little gem of a Mexican restaurant. We were greeted right away and immediately felt like we were family. We were seated by Natalee and she was wonderful. I had a question about my bill when I came home so I called and spoke to Michelle. I felt like I was talking to my sister because she was so easy to talk to. To be honest I feel that your restaurant deserves 10 in every single category. I will highly recommend your restaurant to anyone who says, do you know a great place for Mexican food? I will definitely tell them to go to Serranos. I hope you get a Westside location soon. 🙏 Fan for life.

  I’ve been to Serranos many times, and usually the food is fine, but this time it really fell short. First of all, I always order my tacos without tomatoes, and I requested that and she still brought it to me with tomatoes. Later she said “oh I just realized you weren’t supposed to have tomatoes on yours” to which I responded “it’s fine I picked it off” and she says “appreciate that thank you” so that was a bit of a let down. But mostly what was disappointing is I ordered my child a cheese enchilada and it was ice cold, the cheese wasn’t even melted. My son refused to eat it because it tasted nasty to him and I even tried it and it tasted like they microwaved it for 20 seconds and called it a day. Waste of money in my opinion. I think this might be my last time eating there. The place is also very dusty and the seats were dirty.

  So we came here for dinner but unfortunately food was not good at all. It was pretty soggy. Same meat ( beef or whatever ) was used for tacos and burritos and other Mexican food. Enchiladas had no flavor. Burrito tasted really bad. Overall food was terrible. Will not come back here anymore that's for sure.
