Booked 2 bays for 8 people. We ordered almost every appetizer. No one ate the grilled cheese served with some type of dipping sauce, perhaps a tomato soup. Did not taste good. Second flop was two orders of chicken sliders. Basically sliders with very little chicken. Each slider came with a 3" bun and and a 1 1/2" x 2" piece of chicken. One of our group combined the chicken from 3 sandwiches onto one bun and ate it that way. Chicken wings were mediocre. We never got the 2 orders of pretzels while we were in the bay playing. Someone mentioned it when we were leaving and the staff handed us two orders to go on our way out. They were good the next day. Come for the golf and cold beer. Order the pretzels and skip the rest.

Yesterday’s experience was extremely heartbreaking and uncomfortable for us. From the moment we arrived, we were treated rudely. There was confusion about our tickets because I was unaware that they could not be used until after 24 hours. When I asked for help, the lady mentioned a website but did not explain how to access it or what to do. When I asked again for clarification, she avoided speaking to me, kept looking at the lady next to her, and allowed her to answer instead. It was very clear she did not want to talk to us or help us at all. I eventually said it was okay and that I would just pay instead. At that point, she laughed and said, “It’s going to be a two-hour wait, are you sure you want to stay?” while laughing again. The ladies at the desk were extremely rude, especially the one we were supposed to be speaking with. She made very little effort to communicate with us and repeatedly tried to push the conversation onto the other cashier. What made this even more upsetting was watching the people next to us be checked in quickly and treated with kindness—smiling, laughing, and being helped immediately—while we were ignored and treated horribly. We were made to feel invisible, unwanted, and uncomfortable. The laughter, tone, and lack of respect were humiliating and completely unprofessional. Their behavior was disgusting. We arrived excited and looking forward to enjoying ourselves, but instead we left feeling hurt, embarrassed, and disrespected. We did not stay because of how horribly we were treated. No one deserves to be made to feel this way, and we have never experienced anything like this here before.

What an absolute shitshow. Out for a family outing, we were quoted a one-hour wait. After waiting the full hour, we checked on our bay reservation only to be told we had been assigned a bay for the last 36 minutes, yet we never received a confirmation text(?). Then we were told we’d only had one hour to golf because there was a group reservation behind us. While we wait the initially quoted hour, we decided to eat. After 20 minutes of sitting at a table we realized we had to get up and order our own drinks and food because service prioritizes the bays — but no one tells you that. Everyone around us was sitting there waiting, confused, while employees stood around. Our food took 45 minutes, and the condiments we asked for (blue cheese and salsa) never came. Don’t worry, all the employees stood around chatting while we wait for it to never show up (picture attached). To be clear: this is not the employees’ fault. This is poor management, poor communication, and poor organization. We informed the manager on duty. Her response? “Thank you, have a good day.” Not listening and uninterested. For comparison, we just had our company Christmas party at Topgolf Talking Stick, and the difference was night and day — organized, attentive, and enjoyable. We waited two hours and didn’t even get to golf. Save your day and your plans. Go anywhere else.

Our family visit to the Glendale Topgolf was a disaster from start to finish. Upon arrival, we were told the wait for a bay would be an hour. We decided to grab a table to get drinks and food while we waited. We sat there for 30 minutes before realizing—on our own—that there is no table service at the bar area; you have to order from the bartender. It’s baffling that they provide table service at the bays but leave bar guests completely in the dark. When the food finally arrived 40 minutes later, it was missing key condiments. We asked the staff for them, but they never returned. To top it all off, when we went to check on our bay, we were told it had actually been ready just 10 minutes after we arrived—not the hour we were quoted. We wasted our entire evening sitting at a table with no service while our bay sat empty. The lack of management and clear processes here is glaring. Avoid this location until they figure out how to run a floor.

Our server immediately asked for IDs from everyone, which is completely okay and expected. However, she then condescendingly added that drinks would only go to those who showed ID, despite the fact that we had already clearly acknowledged there was a (very obviously) underage person in our group, implying that we were going to feed beer to a 13 year old. The way this was communicated to us felt unnecessary and targeted. As the game went on, it became increasingly uncomfortable because of how closely we were being watched. She repeatedly hovered near our bay, monitoring us in a way that felt excessive and intrusive, almost like she was waiting for us to do something wrong. Later, she came over to tell us we couldn’t have more than one ball queued in the bay. While this happened once, the issue was not the rule itself- it was the selective enforcement and continous monitoring. After all, the group of on-shift Topgolf employees playing around, were doing the exact same thing and were not corrected or addressed at all. The inconsistency made it very clear that we were being singled out for no legitimate reason. When a manager came over to “smooth things out,” he did the opposite. Instead of addressing the uneven treatment, he implied that we were the problem by saying, “She’s not letting you guys have fun or what?”, suggesting we were acting belligerent or intoxicated. To be absolutely clear, we were not “intoxicated” at any point. The accusation was completely unfounded and felt like a convenient excuse to justify the excessive and unnecessary policing we had already experienced. Between the four of us, we have been to Topgolf well over 100 times at other locations and have never had a single issue. This experience was completely unlike anything we have ever encountered before at any Topgolf. Because of how uncomfortable and unwelcoming the environment became, we left well before even using half of the time we had paid for. What was meant to serve as an enjoyable game, and catch- up with friends visiting from out of town, was cut very short. Overall, the experience felt discriminatory and unprofessional. Enforcing rules is one thing, but selectively monitoring us, treating paying and frequent customers (of over 100+ times) like problems, and making baseless accusations is another. Won’t be returning to this location, its truly an embarrassment. It’s no surprise this location was nearly empty on a Saturday night. Also pressed “print receipt” and never received one - go figure. Update: After reading other reviews for this location, its clear this was not an isolated incident. Multiple reviewers have named the same server and described similar behavior involving excessive monitoring and targeted treatment. Taken together, these reviews suggest a concerning and recurring pattern toward guests, which makes our experience even more troubling in hindsight.
