I am Hispanic & I was not greeted when I stepped up & the cashier began scanning my groceries, however the white woman ahead of me was warmly greeted & the white man who was behind me was warmly greeted. When I asked if my phone number registered in the system after I entered it on the keypad, she said in a tone "you haven't entered a phone number ma'am", but i had, so i asked again & she huffed & turned the pin pad towards her to check. I don't understand the huffing when I just asked a question. The cashier was not friendly at all. The non-greeting added to the unpleasant experience. I did not feel welcome at this Safeway.
