  Food was good but ultimately my review comes down to the service. As someone who has worked some years in a highly professional customer service setting I can say that the team at this Rudy’s was fantastic. I often find points to nitpick service teams on but this team gave my large group an excellent experience! They checked up on us often, got us our food quickly, and even waited to drop the rest of our food at our table while we finished saying grace 😂. About a week later I had to call and get some additional information from them about my receipt and they were super helpful and I had finished getting what I needed in just a few minutes. Incredible team!

  The decorations and layout are nice and appealing. The food is about average in most cases. The breakfast tacos may be the best all around item and they have them ready to go in the mornings. Service is usually nice enough but, this morning I walked in to no one around. I called out a couple of times and eventually someone who looked like a manager of some sort took my order without and apology. It was a rough morning for them for sure.

  The young lady working the breakfast taco area for pick up this morning gave me the best customer service I’ve ever had. She was so nice and it made my day! Thank you!!! Food is also great. Lol

  If you find yourself in Fayetteville craving some real Texas-style barbecue, Rudy’s “Country Store” & Bar-B-Q is well worth the stop. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by the warm aroma of oak-smoked goodness and a line of staff who seem genuinely pleased to welcome you. It’s got that easygoing “come on in, pull up a stool” vibe and the kind of hospitality that makes a casual meal feel like a special treat. Let’s talk brisket, because yes, I had it, and yes, it was perfect. The cut was beautifully smoked over oak, with a dark crust that held an excellent bark, and the meat inside was tender, juicy, and full of smoky flavor. It’s the kind of brisket that makes you grin before you even reach for the sauce (though the sauce is good, too). Multiple reviews of the Fayetteville location already mention that the “moist brisket had a good bark and was very tender.” I couldn't agree more! The atmosphere at Rudy’s keeps things light and fun, no frills, just good food, friendly folks, and plenty of room for conversation (or BBQ-sauce–smeared thumbs). The staff deserve a shout-out: from the counter folks offering samples of brisket to servers checking in with genuine smiles, the kindness factor is high. One reviewer noted that at their first visit the staff “all were friendly and helpful” and eager to make things right. And again I am in agreement! For the kids: Why do pirates love barbecues? Because grill marks the spot for treasure! On the menu side, alongside that blissful brisket, you’ll find plenty of classic sides—new potatoes, beans, slaw—and plenty of bread to soak up the drippings and sauce. The setting is casual, the pace relaxed, and the flavor memorable. In short: Rudy’s in Fayetteville earns its keep as a go-to spot for hearty barbecue, warm service, and good vibes all served up with a wink. It’s a stop I’d happily make again, and one I’d recommend to anyone looking for comfort, smoke, and a genuine barbecue experience.

  The general manager (or at least one of the partners) was beyond personable, friendly Ave helpful. He spoke with everyone and was very helpful with everything. The guy cutting the meat was very friendly as well. The food, as with any rudy's, absolutely rocked! I don't make it to fayetteville often, but when I do this will be a must visit for me.
