Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

    I absolutely never leave reviews for places and I am a very easy going guy, but the service here is the worst thing I have ever experienced in my life. Constantly they are taking forever to get the food out to you, all of the workers talk to you like they can’t stand you ordering food, and they somehow mess up every order they make. Today I ordered a chocolate milkshake and they brought out a strawberry and I was not too worried about it I was just going to deal with it, but I also ordered a medium fry and a plain cheeseburger. They gave me the bag and it was sealed so I did not open it until I got home. Inside the medium fry was half full and my cheeseburger was not plain. Now I know that I am probably overreacting but I just worked 10 hours and I am absolutely starving and this just set me over the edge at 1:37am. But this is not the first time, this has happened to me before it is constant mess ups and slow service from this whataburger. I currently work in food service and I know that everything is not always perfect but I just can’t seem to understand how there is a problem every single time.

    Went in for dinner this evening and it was a horrible experience. We waited almost 20 minutes for the one and only cashier to take our order. She moves like molasses and we only had 3 people in front of us. Of course, she also screwed up the order but thankfully we had plenty of time to recognize her mistake on our receipt because service was so slow. I asked for no onions and when I read the receipt it showed "Only onions" so I went up and told her that she had made a mistake. She promised to fix it but I will never know because after waiting 45 minutes for our food, we demanded a refund and left. Meanwhile, there was a full drink spilled in the floor and I slipped in it and almost fell when I got up from the table. The cashier is awful, the service is SLOW, and the manager does not give a gram of damn. When I was up at the register getting a refund, a lady came in and wanted a refund as well because she had been waiting over an hour, A DAMNED HOUR, in her car for food that she had ordered through the drive-thru. This place is absolute trash and I will never darken their doors again. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
