  First time visiting Whataburger ever. Stopped by on the way home from LA. They seemed to be understaffed, we waited 30+mins for our food. Fish sandwich was good. The positive of this experience was Yvonne. The cashier was delightful, very friendly and was hustling trying to get us taken care of. She's the only reason I was generous with my review. Employees in the background can take note of her work ethic.

  Took almost 45 minutes for our group to get our food. The people behind us walked out because nobody ever took their order. The food was cold and the burger tasted like it had been sitting for a while. My first time ever at this place. Won't be back. One shining light was the woman at the counter that took our order was incredibly nice. Everything else was just bad. Way too short staffed to be open for business. Would be better to be closed than drive customers away making them not ever want to come back.

  Traveling throughout the US spotted a Whataburger in Tuscaloosa I’m from Corpus Christi Tx i’ve been eating Whataburger my whole life. Please keep it in Texas. Other states are ruining your name. My burger was so cold. It wouldn’t even melt the cheese.

  If you are stopping in for lunch then, I would say the service was more of 4 stars but if you go there for breakfast like an hour before they are changing shift, it took them 35 mins to prepare 1 breakfast taquito which was not prepared very well and a sausage breakfast platter with side of bacon and it was missing the sausage had the bacon but no sausage come on. It probably would had been so bad but we could see that they were basically just playing around and giggling. Whoever is over this Whataburger needs to make a surprise visit. So we played the order on the app for take out at 06:50 walked into the restaurant the bathrooms had out of order signs and there was 2 females and a male in the lobby that was playing with a few of the employees we stood there for about 5 mins to tell them we has an order before I decide to walk over to Starbucks to see if they had bathrooms while the husband waited since not one signal person even acknowledged we was there then after I had been over at Starbucks long enough to use the bathroom and order latte I walked back over there to see if they had gotten our order out yet and no they had not now just to give you some more in site there was only 4 vehicles that came thur the drive thru the whole 35 mins we was there. So he walked over to use the bathroom. Well I was waiting one of the male employees came out of the back and when into the bathroom I was thinking he was going to open them but no he didnt he had when in there to use it so I thinking it was because it was close to them getting off work and they didnt want to clean the bathrooms again so they decided to just close the bathrooms. But on the other hand we stopped in there just 2 days before for lunch the place was packed and we got our food in a timely matter and the staff was polite and efficient. So maybe the night crew right before shift chance needs to evaluated because I promise I will not be back for breakfast even if it is the only place open.
