- CAChristine AllenOct 22, 20252.0We had reservations but we still had to wait 30 minutes. Fine, we were on a road trip and didn't want to try to find another place at this point. Outback are usually good, but they had ran out of some of it favorites. We still didn't think it was going to be bad. Yet, my steak salad came out and it had clearly sat there and was dried out. The steak was supposed to be medium rare but was well done. I'm addition, it was mostly lettuce with little of anything else. I did get a replacement steak but it was rare, and while I don't know, it seemed it deliberately undercooked or maybe a new cook who has no idea how to do a steak? My husband got a blooming onion burger with a half a tomato and a few limp shredded lettuce pieces and the blinking onion sauce was almost non-existent. The blooming onion pieces were so overcooked, there was no onion left. The waitress tried her hardest to fix things though with her personality and friendliness.
