Declining Pizza Hut orders hurts Dashers ratings but accepting them means that compensation is almost 100% tips on drop off. Out of the last five Pizza Hut orders I have delivered on DoorDash I have averaged $3. Most people who order from Pizza Hut think that the drivers get an hourly wage, but Dashers do not and the outsourcing practices are exploitative. There should be a 5-10 dollar minimum on deliveries, not $2

I DoorDashed my order and when it got to my house, I had the pizza and the breadstick box, but there were no breadsticks in the box. I called Pizza Hut and explained the situation and the lady on the phone was extremely rude, told us there was nothing she could do and hung up on me before I could tell her the receipt number. My fiancé called and she had the same experience. We asked to either get our money back or to get a new order of breadsticks because we paid for it but Pizza Hut didn’t have the receipt (probably a typical reoccurring situation). The lady was rude, inconsiderate and had horrible customer service. We still didn’t get the right order of breadsticks. If this happens to you too, go to the store in person with your receipt (that has the timestamp and order number) and box for proof. What happened to common courtesy and respect these days? We will never eat here again.
