Cherie made our visit extraordinary, she was over and above what is expected from a server. Thank you for making my husband’s birthday a rememberable one!

I have never experienced a level of rudeness in my life. Me and my family went here and they were almost finished their food and i still hadn't received mine. The waitress never came around until 15 min after she dropped off their food so I had to flag her down to tell her i didn't get my food. So had to wait an additional 15 min. My family were finished their food when mine arrived. They gave me a side of freezing cold fries until i waited for my dinner. I never got an apology or even a complimentary dessert. The dirty dinner plates were still on our table when we got up to leave. The restaurant wasn't busy at all. But all the tables were covered with Dirty plates. There was a total of 3 tables that night so there was no reason for this level of mistakes. I will never go back there again. If u ever do also forget going into their bathrooms. What a disgrace it was and again this could have been helped as their was more than enough staff and 3 tables occupied in the restaurant.

I’ve had dinner at Montana’s at the Coast hotel Nisku the last two nights while staying at the hotel while working nearby. Both times the service and food has been exceptional and exactly the same. Prompt service/seating. Fries were hot. Portions/protein servings were generous. Would highly recommend. (I’ve had the brisket burger with fries both times)

Went for a date night Saturday evening. The restaurant was fairly quiet when we showed up at 5:15 though it did pick up as the evening went on. We were greeted by another server ( Olia), along with getting our drinks and food order taken. ( We wish she would have been our server the whole bought! Extremely helpful and great personality!)
Our actual server, Olivia walked by to drop off a few things at the table before our food came, but didn’t say anything. Olivia brought our food out with a a few things missing which she was quick at fixing. She didn’t come back to do a quality check or offer another round of drinks. She did return to remove our plates after eating asked if we wanted a dessert which we declined. We waited another 20 to 30 minutes for our bill. In the meantime I did end up going up to the bar and then the host stand requesting our bill. The host told us she would go find our server. (Good Luck!). Olivia came about 5 minutes after with the bill and machine with no apologies.
Our overall experience was fine, though we were very disappointed in the service we had received.

Normally I love Montana’s. And I come to this Montana’s quite a bit. Usually it’s great service, great food, and great ambiance. But today, despite there being less than 5 full tables in the whole restaurant and most definitely more than 5 front staff working that I counted, I received worse service than I have in a completely packed restaurant.
From beginning to end the service was slow and inattentive. We sat down and ordered our drinks. Our waitress (B.P. according to the receipt), brought my water and the wine for my friend. Despite my asking for no ice in my water, the glass I was given was more than half full of ice.
At this time we ordered our appetizers, main meals, and I ordered a second drink. We received our appetizers before I received my second drink. And despite my asking for that with no ice as well, it came with so much ice that when I fished it all out my drink was less than half full and I had to ask for more lemonade to top off the glass.
I do want to give a shout out to the kitchen staff who put out our meals quickly. The food was hot and delicious.
But we ordered enough food for lots of leftovers and our waitress was also asked multiple times for containers, and though she brought us some for part of our appetizers, she did not bring us the additional containers we asked for to finish packing up the leftovers.
She was so inattentive to us, instead favouring moving about the restaurant finding odds and ends jobs to do, that when we wanted our water glasses refilled and to get the containers we asked for and to get the bill, we had to ask two other passing waitresses for the help.
My sincerest apologies for the staff who did help us and the kitchen staff who put together a good meal, because as I understand it and hope is the case, tips get shared with the staff who do not directly serve the table, but I could not bring myself to leave any tip for such lack lustre service. Maybe I am old school, but I still feel that a server’s wage is what pays for the basics and if you want a tip you have to actually earn it.
I am truly hoping that this was just off day, because as I said, I’ve been here many times and I usually find the standards much higher. Hopefully next time will be more reflective of that.
