I am extremely frustrated with the service at this McDonald’s location.
Every single time I place a mobile order at approximately 3:00 a.m., the order goes through successfully. Yet when I arrive at the drive-thru, the staff tell me they are closed and ask me to cancel the order myself.
This behavior is irresponsible and unacceptable. It feels like the staff are simply lazy and unwilling to do business, while customers are left wasting time and effort.
If the store is closed, mobile orders should not be accepted. This situation needs immediate attention.

Better since they did an overhaul of the interior. However, we did just go here today and tried their new burger. Barely any sauce and fries had hardly any salt. So food can be a hit or a miss depending on the day.

I hadn't eaten anything all day so I ordered a double big mac for delivery big mistake I should hav just made something myself because I got really bad food poisoning. Never had a issue with this McDonald's but obviously there's some underlying issues. Do better McDonald's seriously

I ordered. And when my number was called I said “may I have some ketchup please?” And the chubby Asian lady that dropped my order off (while still walking away) glanced back and just pointed. I said “excuse me? Some ketchup please.” And she just pointed and then I realized she was pointing to the ketchup reservoir behind the counter in their workspace. You want me to come back and make my fries too? I said “miss im not going to go into your workspace, just hand me the ketchup please.” And she gave a dirty look like I asked something above and beyond the scope of her job. Wild behaviour.

I was honestly surprised and disappointed to read so many negative reviews about this McDonald’s. I have been going to this Macleod Trail location for many years, and my experiences have consistently been positive.
Like many inner-city locations, this restaurant is impacted by broader social issues in the surrounding area, including people experiencing homelessness and addiction. That is not something the staff can control, and it should not be held against them.
The employees here work hard, remain polite, and do their best in situations that are often challenging. They deserve compassion and respect, not blame. The restaurant itself is well run given the circumstances, and I will continue to support this location.
A little empathy goes a long way — especially for frontline staff who show up every day and do their jobs professionally.
