I used to love this bank. They were really a friendly location to conduct banking business with, but as time moves on, they seem to have become complacent with a lack of old fashioned small town bank courtesy and moved up to pushing the corporate agenda of selling service greed. It’s all about the money now. No smiles, no how was your week, no how have you been, just another routine transaction of selling a big banking service. And it’s sad, because the ladies are really nice people, but they have a job to do now, and it’s no longer about being the friendly hometown bank, it’s about selling their corporate product and brand. They are pushed to produce a sale when all we want is our friendly hometown girls back that used to make you feel welcome. 😞

Amazing folks and in a great location, the staff are always welcoming and accommodating when my wife and I visit. They are swift and prompt in their handling of affairs. Carla is always a friendly face at the front.

This has to be the worse financial institution that has ever been built. Dig a hole in your backyard and bury your money. If you try to use this bank, you won't see your money for 3-5 days. "Protocol" I've had checks with my name on them and presented an ID and they were held. I've had loans from a Truist company be held because they were "pending" and not "posted." Was told they would be available after business hours today. That sure helped me out since I needed the funds in a cashier's check. I've been denied cashing checks with my name on them because they were from another bank. I would rather give out my money for Trick or Treat than to put another penny into this bank

The only reason you would need an account here is if your employer hates you enough to have an account with them. If you don't have an account they'll charge you nearly double anywhere else in fayette county. I've had accounts at Fayette County National, Bank of Mount Hope, Wood Forest, and BB&T and this place easily ranks at the bottom.
