First let me say if you’re an individual looking to set up a checking or savings account, go to Jefferson Security bank, they won’t nickel and dime you. It’s a good home town bank that cares about their customers. You sure don’t need an appointment to set up a new account. They value all their customers and are happy to set up new WALK in accounts. I used to frequent this location when I worked in Inwood; i was never so happy to move locations to get away from the rude tellers at this bank. Fast forward 4 years, I happen to be in Inwood for lunch and had deposits that needed dropped off so I guess I hoped things changed, It only got worse. The tellers at this location are rude, unprofessional and unwelcoming hence, the 2.5 google rating. Every Truist allows 3 transactions through the drive thru, this one doesn’t. They’ll make you wait until they help all the non commercial Clients who come after you; 10 minutes after you. Even though without their commercial clients they wouldn’t have a business. No signs anywhere stating commercial clients not allowed in the drive thru. Or even transaction limits. The Edwin Miller location at least has a sign stating if you have more than 3 transactions to please come inside. We were lectured twice about next time coming in and not through the drive thru. Don’t worry, I won’t be back I took the hint that my business wasn’t wanted or appreciated. Please don’t waste your time here. Drive further and go to the one on Edwin Miller Blvd if you must use Truist, the ladies and gentleman at the Edwin Miller location are always polite and allow commercial clients through their drive thru. They appreciate their commercial clients and prioritize their commercial clients. I could send 6 transactions through the drive thru on Edwin Miller and they’d have my receipts in less than 5 minutes. Their drive thru is first come first serve, AS IT SHOULD BE. This bank also charges a percentage if you cash in change, commercial and non commercial clients. This bank won’t even cash checks drawn off their own accounts without charging you a fee. They won’t even cash my petty cash check for my business because I personally don’t bank with them, my bank JEFFERSON SECURITY will cash my petty cash check, free of charge. What a shame.

Walked in to open a new bank account with them & all of the staff was not very welcoming also were dilly dallying talking and laughing with each other and not help any of the customers. One of the employees asked another employee if she had time opening a new bank account she was leaned against the desk looking like she had nothing better to do and said no and they could schedule a time. Then they continued talking about something else not work related and left me hanging for a good couple minutes before she even took the schedule book out. I said never mind, Ill bank somewhere else.
