- BGBill GibeauJan 5, 20263.0I'd give this bank 5 stars if it had stayed on Division street. Everyone working there is phenomenal. Hopefully the new location is temporary, because it's inaccessible to students who don't have a car unless they plan to ride the bus for over an hour each way (The experience of driving on highway 10 also feels like a deterrent to anyone wanting to use the bank in person). This complaint would be less relevant if UW Credit Union weren't geared towards students like the title of the bank suggests it is. If the move was necessary due to issues with the previous building, I hope that the company is able to move to a more accessible location in the future, maybe somewhere downtown. US Bank, located in the DUC on campus, looks more attractive to students right now-- regardless of this credit union's better rates.

The B.S. run around has been so much more difficult than it should be. The computer voice assist will absolutely drive you insane. Nobody has been helpful. Stay away.

When I was employed making 1/4 of what I do today they were willing to give me the sun and the moon for auto financing and a personal loan with horribly bad credit. 5 years later with perfect payment history and 5 figure deposits monthly and they have every excuse under the sun for why self employment is too high of a risk for them to lend to - despite having my checking accounts, and payment history with them to back it up. Pulling my accounts and going elsewhere. Relationships my behind - there’s way better financial institutions out there for self employed people than this one. I wanted to keep it local with my Alma mater but our money isn’t good enough because we don’t work for someone else.
