I followed everyone's Facebook pages, watched their posts, and narrowed it down to 3 in the area. It's a big deal to me. I want to make sure they offer what I need, and I can feel comfortable recommending them to clients. I'm over 50, so we chose a checking account that's interest bearing (every little bit helps). I don't want to pay for checks. I rarely write them. I don't have a huge wish list, but as you know, service is #1 for me, and oh, did I ever pick the right bank! While maintaining professionalism, I was guided through all the choices the bank offers, policies, etc. Now I'm not going to tell you that there was a comedy show at the bank today, but when I left, I regretted not wearing waterproof mascara. 10 stars on a 5 star scale for friendliness. Lots of smiles. Lots of laughter. The other customers that came in while we were there were all greeted by name and were treated with the same, small town bank familiarity. That's really what I want in a bank, personalized service. I got my free camping lantern for opening an account (the gift changes often, but you get a wok starting in September:). and if you bring in old checks or debit cards, you can get a small stipend for those, too. Long story longer, I give them my highest recommendation. They have a referral program too. Thank you, Christine! You are a fabulous representation of your bank.
