- EEElaineDec 19, 20191.0Their notary was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a bank. Lena always had an excuse for why she would not do something as simple as notarize a signature. We were told to format the paper differently- we did then went back a week later and Lena never even came to speak to us directly the manager of the bank had to come down and talk to her and Lena still refused to notarize a simple signature. I’ve never felt discriminated against before but when I told the manager how I was feeling she went back to Lena for a second then came back to us and didn’t even look us in the eye just said that the notary “didn’t feel comfortable” ... maybe it was because the bank closed in 30 min - scoff! We went to a different bank right around the corner and had our paper notarized in less than 5 min .... needless to say we will be switching banks.
