- DBDwight BrownJul 31, 20251.0Very disappointing experience these last few months being a new wells fargo customer. 2 separate time i have enrered this wells fargo to handle business. They refused to let me withdraw money out of my account from my direct deposit. And i quote. Your account is to new. Fast forward to today. My grandma wrote me a check as a gift i tried to mobile deposit the check. The app said it couldn't deposit it and to visit a branch. I did just that. They refused to put the check into my accout. I didnt want any cash or anything. Just wanted to start the process of getting the check into my account so the money could process over a few days as normal with the check. The check was from USAA and wells just refused to even do that. And heres the kicker. They cant do it in the branch but tell me to go outside and use the ATM and try. I left and within the hour created a new account with chase. Have the check deposited into my new account and just waiting for it to process now. Chase also gave me a few 100 of the check into my new account immediately. So I will be closing out my Wells fargo account very soon. And so will my wife. Very unprofessional to have the gentleman tell me your account has been negative before so thats another reason we cant. Account was negative one time due to wells fargo processing a transaction days after it should have. This bank is slow with transactions being posted on the correct dates. Leave you 0 stars if i could. I was willing to try and give you guys a chace even after the big scandal of you stealing money from customers. But i see it was the wrong decision.

Present day, they still suck. They don’t take walk in appointments and they don't answer the phone and when they do they just hang up on people.
