Their online presence is borderline unusable with different portals for your ‘account’ and ‘payment center.’ Every phone call sounds like it’s coming through an old rotary phone that is 20,000 leagues under the sea. After a change in our financial situation, we had to stop auto payments for a vehicle loan (and switch to manual)— it took at least 5 calls, “secure messages”, and several months for us to get… nowhere. “Everything” they could see said the payment was stopped, yet once every two weeks the payment left our bank account. Getting the payment stopped through our bank took half the time our most recent call with UWCU took, and only our bank was able to actually accomplish something. We deeply regret the day we ever signed a loan with UWCU.
