- CTCrystal Tuescher-CroftOct 14, 20252.0Edit: Thanks tracy for dealing with this. Hopefully its all good when i get back to the dmv Thursday. Useless. I used old national for an auto loan on a brand new car in 2022. I ended up paying off the loan in 2023. I am now in the process of selling the vehicle and come to find out, they never released the lien electronically so...I can't sell it until they get their affairs in order. I keep calling the local branch back because that's where I paid it off and they want to give me this letter that does me absolutely no good. In wisconsin, it has to be released electronically to the dmv. I've asked multiple times for them to take care of this 2 1/2 years after I paid it off. Stop selling products if you don't properly know how to release the lien. While at the dmv i was given an 800 number to call in a matter of minutes. Even the dmv that a financial institution should absolutely know how to do this.
