I can’t stand this bank. Every single thing I try to do is inconvenient. I took out a home equity loan. In order to pay it I had to go to my bank pull out money go to their bank to pay it in person. Eventually I was able to call but every month it was a hassle and an argument to try and pay. They kept saying to add my bank online to make transfers I tried over 5 times. It. Does. Not. Work. Their checking account history is vague and hard to read. It’s confusing to know where your money was taken out and where it went to along with the ending balance. It made it incredibly difficult to track money so we stopped using it. I had something on autopay there that I completely forgot about. It over-drafted and I didn’t even realize until I got a letter in the mail saying they closed my account and reported me. It said to contact Arnesha Hobson. But had no number or email to contact her. I called the regular number…..she’s not available. I asked to pay it with someone else… nobody else can take my payment. I work 8-5pm everyday Monday through Friday. I’m in meetings and trainings for the majority of the day. Now I have to cross my fingers that Arnesha calls me when I’m miraculously on one of my 15 minute breaks so I can pay them, because apparently she’s the only person in the entire company that can take my payment. It’s crazy how much they try to avoid taking money. I’m grateful for the loan on a small interest rate at the time we got it. But this bank has been nothing but a headache and I’m so glad to have everything finally closed with them. It’s unfortunate it happened the way it did with the lack of communication and the misstep I had with autopay on an account I never used. But thank god it’s over. I would gladly pay a high interest rate at a different bank for future endeavors just to avoid them.

I'm not very happy about Firefly CU merging with TruStone, but I have been very happy with this location. I admit my banking needs haven't been very complex since moving here from Minnesota, but the simples ones, like getting quarters and replacement cards, have been super easy.

Nothing but inconvenience. They will put all kinds of crazy holds on your card so you can’t access your own money like if you do too many transactions in one day spending money that is yours and you need to access the ample funds in your account, it will decline your card because you used your own money in too many places in one day and you’ll end up sleeping in your car because your hotel can’t run your card and customer service isn’t open. Don’t walk, run from this bank!!!!! Oh if you need more than $3,000 in one transaction you’ll have to go through hours of approval bS to get an exception. Enjoy that folks!! Worst. Bank. Ever.
