I have had accounts with Wells for over a decade! I wish I was joking when I tell you to run the other way with the new personal bankers at this branch! A phone number that I have no where it came from is on my daughter's brand new first checking account so we can't enroll my daughter in OLB ! The Ballard branch tells me we have to call the automated phone system back (who hung up on us 3 times) she assured me that they can fix her error and get that phone number corrected so my daughter can have access to her new account! ! Nope they sure can't! THEY CAN'T AUTHENTICATE MY DAUGHTER!!!!!!! we answered 5-10 security questions and that still wasn't good enough! Now we have to go in! I have to take time off work to get this issue resolved! As if the appt itself wasn't a joke now this ! Why!
UPDATE- we went in on my 30 min lunch break and was able to get my daughter's phone number added to her profile as it was never added in the beginning. Ann offered to help ensure that my daughter could enroll in olb before we left that was 2 and a half hours ago and she still can't enroll in OLB as we keep getting an error saying some thing went wrong. Ann was going to call the lovely automated system and warm transfer and we never got that help as promised, I called wells back and got rachel who is more than happy to tell me in so many words oh well Ann is busy. Call another location or the automated system. Not one apology through this entire horrible experience. Not one thing was offered. What a crappy experience for my daughter to be put through for a 1st time client with her first checking account. I just wonder is this why the Ballard location is shutting down . Poor customer experience goes a long way.
I will be exploring other banks for my daughter.
Ann was great with follow through, and ended up taking time to make sure Sophia's account and olb worked finally. The biggest lingering issue is the way this all went down, no way is this good customer service, no way it's the automated phone customer service reps getting away with the way they treated me or Ann. But also 12 years I've been with Wells and this has left a bad taste in my mouth.

I do not go to Wells Fargo often as I do most of my banking online, but today I went to the Branch on North Ballard Rd in Appleton WI and I was so angry. They had 1 teller for the entire place. Lobby and drive thru. The line was 6 people deep and of course she had 2 difficult customers in a row. There were 3 bankers sitting in there cubes and no one would even consider helping. I left after 20 minutes and the line never moved. It is a Monday and you have 1 teller. That is completely unacceptable. Been considering pulling my banking from Wells for a while. Think they just gave me the push I needed.

Poor service at this Appleton Ballard Rd Wells Fargo location. No willingness to be of help or assistance. I cannot recommend it at all. Truly disappointing.

Every time I come to this branch slow is not the word today I timed it I sat at the window for a half hour this is in my opinion not good customer service
