- DWDanielle WilcherFeb 21, 20251.0Update- I Had to come to to this branch unfortunately and they still are the absolute worst location. They wanted me to tell them the last 4 of my SS through the drive through number to make a deposit, which is very unsecured. I was hassled and they took forever to make my deposit. I have multiple accounts with key bank, I made a deposit and specified which account I wanted it deposited to. I checked my accounts 2 days later and learned that the teller actually deposited the money into my sons account instead (similiar account numbers). By this time, my account was then negative because of their error. This is the SECOND time this branch has made this error.

I have a speech impediment that my words slurred, for the listener, it is confusing to hear me speak. I have been going to KeyBank in Yelm for the last 4.5 years. My speech is getting worse, so I write on a note what services I need and hand the note to the teller. The first time I handed a note to a teller was probably three years ago. The teller at that time thought the note was telling I was robbing the bank like in the movies. Besides my speech is impaired, I nearly 78 year years old. After a few attempts to communicate from me and the teller, after a few attempts, now, we communicate really well. All the tellers treat me well, but specially, Laurie Hoover and Jimmie St. John treat me with patience and respect. If I am happy with the KeyBank in Yelm why not 5 stars? I write a lot reviews. To me, 5 stars is perfect. No business is perfect. I would give 4.5 stars if that is possible, but isn't.
