- EEEymburDec 16, 20231.0I don't typically take the time to leave bad reviews, but... whew. This has to be the worst bank I have ever dealt with in my life, and I am almost 40 years old and have worked for banks and credit unions for over 15 years. They have fees for literally everything! It was a mistake moving my HELOC from BECU to this institution. I have never in my life heard of a bank requiring you to call once a year to re-lock your drawn funds rate, but they do, and they don't tell you that upfront. If you make a payment from an external bank, they don't honor the day you make the payment and it sometimes takes 7 days for their funds transfer to complete 😂 They charge you 4 dollars a month just to have a bank account, and if you don't keep any money in it, they'll advance your fee from your HELOC for it. They charge you 100 dollars a year just to have a HELOC open with them, and they charged me 25 dollars just to get my payoff balance, LOL! I have never been so relieved to pay off something. This bank is the epitome of nickel and diming its clients. I will never have anything nice to say about them to anyone, other than their staff in the branches are great to deal with, even though they look like they are exhausted from saying, "I'm sorry," all day every day. If you can use any other institution, please do it! Keeping your money under your mattress is more cost efficient than banking here.
