This is by far the worst bank I have ever had. They take forever to return a voided transaction to your account or refund- however pulls all of the payments right away even before deposits. Then lie and say the do it right when it comes through- it has never taken us bank 7 days to give me my voided transaction money back or give me checks in real time instead of when the bank opens.. the phone system is also stupid they don’t answer the phone leave you in hold and then ask 800 questions and then hang up on you

They don't post payments received on time for 8-10 days, then they send a late notice.

First, I’d like to say that I had been with OnPoint for twelve years. The service by their “fraud department” is atrocious, as well as their lack of concern for life’s necessities. Background: I opened an estate account for my friend who passed away. I then deposited her reimbursement check from State Farm in the amount of 800. The check bounced back, and the mandatory estate savings went negative. I immediately contacted State Farm to get a new check issued to correct the negative balance. It will take seven to ten business days to arrive. Meanwhile, my card kept declining- most notably at the pharmacy to get my daughter’s epilepsy medication. OnPoint put my personal checking account and interest checking account on restricted status. I spoke to a banker at the desk, and a relations officer. I asked for 60$ in my interest checking account to be released in order to pick up said medication. They basically said no. The relations officer reached out to the fraud department who informed her that they need cash or a cashiers check to bring the balance in the estate account positive. I am unable to access MY OWN money in my personal checking accounts. A new check is on the way, but again- that’s seven to ten days from now. The estate account is getting a deposit that would more than cover the negative balance. While I understand that as a small bank they are doing their due diligence to protect people from fraud, I can say they do a poor job. I am constantly getting notifications from their alert system asking for confirmation that I am in fact making an in state purchase. The one time I had a fraudulent transaction that looked like a Venmo purchase, OnPoint refused to help me. I had to dispute it with Venmo. Another thing worth noting is that when I closed my mother’s estate account, all my checking account cards were closed in error. I have gone through more debit cards with OnPoint than any other bank. As soon as the balances are positive, I am pulling all the money in my interest checking, personal checking, and the estate checking and savings. My aunt who has business account is following suit, as well as my husband and our kids. I refuse to let them gain interest on anything I have in my accounts. They have lost my business permanently… and my daughter had a seizure last night. Update to my post: I have cancelled all of my OnPoint accounts. It’s sad. I banked with them for twelve years.
