  I’ve banked with Columbia bank for seven years until this merge w/ Umpqua. I never had any issues with deposits, Checking my statements, checking my banking app until Umpqua took over. Every night from midnight to 3 AM the balance on the banking app isnt up-to-date due to “maintenance”. One time I came to the branch ATM and cash withdrawals were “unavailable”, ridiculous! I came to this branch a couple weeks ago to make two transactions through the drive-through window to which Alesia was the employee who was taking care of me and huffed and puffed and was clearly bothered for doing her job when I did two transactions. As far as I’m aware, every bank allows two transactions per vehicle in the drive-through line, no other policy was stated, but this was horrible service. I just happened to come by and make a deposit, to which was made to the wrong account by Alesia, again. This is just unacceptable. Horrible customer service, horrible bank!

  I recently moved to the area and went to open a new personal and business account. It seemed it was going fine, then the branch manager came and told me I was NOT suitable for opening an account with Umpquaa because I was NOT TRUTHFUL about my address. My address was a commercial address as I didn't have a residence there yet, and I told the rep that when I gave her the address. Anyway, the manager was weirdly hostile and basically kicked me out of the bank, which was so surreal it just made me laugh. Anyway, I went and opened an account and another bank without a problem, but then I got a debit card in the mail from Umpquaa. I emailed the rep I filled out the paperwork with, Olga, and told her that as I had been kicked out of the bank, I didn't understand why they still opened an account for me afterward, and I asked her to close is immediately. No response, and now I have received a statement from them. How incompetent is this bank???

  There grate I enjoy actually going to a bank again. I never thought I would go to a bank again after blead todeath 400.00 fees for 26.00 in checks. But Umpqua is not like that sure there are fees but this bank will work with you for the most part I've enjoyed the experience at there bank and plan to stay with them...
