- CTCaleb TadesseOct 7, 20251.0I made an appointment with the financial advisor at this branch to discuss investment options with Wells Fargo. No financial advisor showed up. Instead, I was met by a banker who told me that essentially the amount I planned to invest was not worth the advisor’s time. They later reached out to scheduled another appointment with the financial advisor after there was a no show the first time. I came in with intention of investing a larger amount, one that would now be “worth” the advisor’s attention. That appointment was then rescheduled because it did not fit the advisor’s schedule. Today, I received a call from a new banker confirming my appointment and wanting details on what I was looking for even though my intentions never changed from the start. After explaining what i was looking for again I told it would now be moved from in person to a phone call “to save everyone’s time, since time is valuable.” I was also informed of a new minimum investment amount that was deemed as investment worthy and was told there was an extensive list of requirements that judging by the tone of the banker made it seem like I wouldn't fit. Which I found odd because I hadn't even spoken to anyone about the criteria. I would have been more than willing to invest a significant sum, but it is clear that this branch’s financial advisor who represents Wells Fargo from my understanding, does not value Wells Fargo customers or their time. I will be taking my investments elsewhere to a place that respects its clients and actually wants their business.
