- LWLT WillisMay 29, 20201.0My experience with Umpqua's Seattle Queen Anne branch was dissatisfying and unpleasant. I previously paid off an account that was in collections with them; therefore, I thought I could resume service with the company once my debt was paid. Unfortunately, after opening another account, the account was soon closed and my deposit returned. They no longer wanted my service due to the previous charge off according to the results from the Background Investigation team, which the teller Michael informed me was the reason behind the closure of the new account. I had always heard that Umpqua was an upstanding and quality institution but I am saddened that after paying my debt I wasn't allowed to be a customer again. It's not the teller's fault, I am just surprised and disheartened about the outcome of the institution's decision.
