They tell you one thing & do another; so, in my recent experiences Key Bank continues to be dishonest & untrustworthy. I called in need of help, so a straight answer would've been helpful. Instead, I was referred to their worthless corporate number, where I was told to contact my local branch. I called the branch again & was put on hold for over 20 minutes. The answer I got made zero sense & that was the best the person came up with.
What good is a bank if they just pass the buck & are unaccountable? Then and only then, when yet another less than 5-star review hits they act like they care & want you to reach out to them, again... so they can burn your entire being yet again. My initial review is a solid 2 stars; I may or may not change it in the future?
__________ Etited Review 07/08/2025 _________
Based on the standard & pathetic response from KeyBank, which I assumed would happen; I'm lowering my rating from 2-stars to 1-star as of July 8, 2025. Way to go, KeyBank; you deserve zero stars!

I got a loan with Nancy S. at this branch, an issue came up and she cleared everything up. I really appreciated the good service.

If I could give a zero star, I would have. I am disabled, have an acct here since 2012. My caregiver has told me about the problems she encounters at this branch every time she has had to go into the bank. The lead teller Patsy has always been short, rude, unfriendly, unhelpful, verbally combative, I could go on and on. My caregiver has told me she never wants to have to go back in there ever again. Presently involved in another go around over payroll checks that are being refused to be cashed by this same teller on an account the business owner has with this same branch. This Company actually has an Acct with this branch and yet she refused to cash their payroll checks written to their employees without charging a fee to do so. And yet the bank as well as herself has cashed these same payroll checks for the past year with no problems. When confronted with this she claims she has never cashed these checks nor has the branch. Told her she should not pull that lying game, this person can go to his boss and get copies of the checks that they have cashed and it will show she herself has cashed them in the past. I have to wonder if the Branch Manager has any knowledge as to what is happening at this location Finally called the 1-888 number online and guess who calls me, ya Patsy. You would think the 1-888 number would have had the Branch Manager call to speak about the incident. At this point I am led to believe this LEAD TELLER Patsy, and she makes sure she tells you her position several times while she's arguing with you in front of a lobby full of people, has some sort of GOD syndrome going on. If in fact the Branch Manager actually see's this as well as the other 3 posts pertaining to the problems at this branch that are listed above mine she will actually call me so we can discuss these issues with this teller and the Grand Mound Branch of Key Bank.

Patsy at key bank, didn't even listen to me the first time I talked to her. Informationlly challenged, doesn't know how to be professional at all. Says I don't know how to help you, just pay attention to your account, another account pulled money out of my bank account but still hasn't been represented in my online statement. Completely un professional! She was rude and discourteous, seemed like I was wasting her time talking to her. Not going back to that branch EVER!!

Total scam artists and intentional ripoff.
ATM charges $4.00 for a fee to withdraw money. It is cheaper at Disneyland, Six Flags, and Casinos to get money. TOTAL RIPOFF!
