  My Mom made an appointment last Friday (05-14-2024), she deposited a check of $30,766.08. We needed the funds for an Immediate use, she had BofA account but I told her not to make use of it, she should create a new bank account. She decided to have an account with Key-bank. She made it known to the staff that the check she’s gonna deposit is for an Immediate use, and she will transfer $30,000 immediately the check clears. Hopefully, the check cleared on 05/22/2024 which was last Saturday. She went to the bank today (05-24-2024) to make a wire transfer but she was denied the right to do that. They said she will have to be in relationship with the bank for 6months before she can do anything electronically. She was denied of Cashier check and at the same time Wire transfer too. She was lied to about the policy of the bank. We need the funds for Immediate use, if it can’t be done these week, a lot is going to happen. We’re going to opt out of using your Bank if we can’t get this done ASAP. I can’t recommend this Bank to anyone because their Staffs lied to my Mom!

  Key bank has denied me access to my funds for over a week, and canceled a legitimate wire transfer without my knowledge. This branch, where I opened my account, has been completely unhelpful in resolving the matter. I would avoid doing any business with this bank and especially this branch.

  I have been here for two hours opening a business account. Just about finished. Probably another 15 minutes or so. It turned out to be another 40 minutes. 2 hours and 40 minutes. They say it is a process..more like a gauntlet. How can they make it take longer. I cannot guess.
