Umpqua Bank helps people, businesses and communities find financial solutions that fit.
We do so by treating our customers like people, not numbers. We get to know them and find products and services that meet their needs and goals. And we give back to the communities we serve because it helps us all.
Umpqua offers the best of both worlds – the financial expertise and strength of a national bank with the customer service and care of a community bank.
The most 'bigoted' service I got today. TRICIA MAGANA... there were no customers...nil. She was busy told me to have a cup of coffe...while i wait. Then she called me... but was 'uncomfortable' with my coffee on the table. O asked her to notarize a few documents for me. She said it was free for customers. Then she started complaining about it and told me that is why others charge money. Since i was there i also had a cashiers check for $40,000.00 that I wanted to deposit.
Her response 'I am not comfortable with that amount'... 'you bank account does not have high balance history. .. from what she could see... she could not look back at my account from Umpqua. Then she said there will be a hold.. which I know 10 .. 15 days ..not a problem. But to tell me that she was not CONFORTABLE with the large amount...🤔🤔🤔🤔.
So the most logical thing at that moment ...since I was really 'hurt' by that 'judgemental' attitude...I closed the acount.
I run a business .. this acount was just personal and for petty cash. I have an average cash flow of $38,000.. A MONTH..!!!!
I have friends and family that have Columbia Credit Union....i will 'convince' them to switch... if i can get just one person to switch...it will give me some 'comfort'
WAY TO GO TRICIA MAGANA..👏👏👏

I stopped late on a Friday to deposit a check. The drive through was open and empty. I was greeted by a polite, cheerful teller that completed my transaction quickly. Not my usual branch, but it is closer and not as busy as the other branches. I will use this branch now.

Rude, slow, cause I was profiled. Cause I make good money. I was in my work close. I’m a big guy and not all white. They made excuses up. Manager wanted to meet me. Always the older white ladies that do this. Very tired of always being judge at my bank I had for almost 2 years. I have it recorded on video. Post it some time later. Longview does it to me too. Sad sad people. Just be honest and I wouldn’t care.
