- KFKaylie FerrariSep 27, 20181.0I would advise to not bank here! I’ve never had a problem really with banks before, but I’m really appalled by umpqua. We had a misread check we deposited in our account and they closed ALL of our accounts without giving us notice. Let me add they did this on Thursday, the only reason I knew was because I tried to pay our bills and i couldn’t so I called and did that whole thing was told my account was fine over the phone again couldn’t use the card called again said we had to go in to “reopen” the account, which it was already 5pm so we went on Friday and told us no, it’s permanently closed...they froze our money which was quite a bit and said they couldn’t issue use a cashiers check until Monday... so we had to go the whole weekend with no way of paying anything. I’ve never lost so much faith in a bank before than I have with them! Again I’d HIGHLY advise to NOT bank here!
