WSECU is a member-owned credit union serving the people of Washington State. We combine a deep love for our state with exceptional personal service, lower fees and banking anywhere, anytime. The dollars our members deposit go right back into the community we're all a part of, helping our members build their homes and go to college, creating more jobs and strengthening our local economy. By virtue of banking with us, our members create shared prosperity for themselves and their communities. WSECU is federally insured by the NCUA. Equal Housing Opportunity.
Driver thru banking was way too slow. New teller(think name was pergento or something similar) needs more training before working drive thru alone. Took about 5 times longer than usual for a cashiers check. Usually have good experiences, but not this time.

Don't believe the hypocrisy of this bank. I have been inside this bank and overheard the bankers telling a certain ethnicity of people that they need power of attorney and to show two forms of identification and that they were being flagged for fraud even though their elderly parent/relative brought them into the bank with them to help handle their transactions but got a bit confused. My family are rich white ango saxon privileged and have money too but no one from this particular bank has never ever said such things like this to our family in this manner for the many years we all have been banking at this bank. Just thought everyone should know. They wouldn't dare put us through that scrutiny and embarrassment. Our bills get paid it doesn't matter which one of us is in the bank to pay our bills. We all write checks for each other and to each other nothing has ever gotten flagged for fraud. Also no one has never ever been flagged for financial exploitation as we have very old parents who forget who we are sometimes who have dementia but still we have never had the bank do such a horrific thing to us as I just happened to over hear what they were saying to this family when I was waiting in the bank to take care of an issue for my family. What horrible people we plan to take our banking elsewhere before they try to do this to our family too. Also it appeared that the man named DQ and the lady named Jill was really trying to start an altercation so they could call the cops on these good people and make an arrest completely disgusting bank!!!

I've been with WSECU for almost 40 years and they've always been very kind and helpful, regardless of the branch or on the phone. The Lakewood branch is no exception; I've always received excellent service in-person there.
