- JWJames Whitaker2 days ago1.0I went in yesterday to deposit a check for my dad, who’s in the hospital and not expected to recover. He had a stack of one dollar bills he uses to buy my mom her lottery tickets and two were tattered. When I deposited the check I asked them to replace the two bills and they refused as I, personally, was not a customer. I explained that they were my dad’s and that I also have power of attorney. They still refused. Absolutely petty and shambolic. I wouldn’t open an account with this bank of it was the last bank on the planet. The teller was perfectly nice and obviously uncomfortable with the decision; I don’t blame her, but this bank has been going down the drain for awhile now. For the record, I’m reasonably certain that these bills were withdrawn by my dad from this branch as neither of my parents know how to even use an ATM and my mom told me I need to get on the account so I can withdraw cash for this exact reason.
