- SMshreeya modyAug 6, 20251.0I've found the staff at this branch to be well-intentioned, but unfortunately not very competent. A simple task—opening the account and applying a promotion—took over a month to complete after several follow ups from my side. Even after that, it's been over three months and the promotion still hasn't been deposited. I’ve had to follow up repeatedly and was recently told by customer service that it could take another 30 days as they are researching the cause for delay. I’ve had to constantly monitor charges on my account and ask for corrections. Overall, it’s been an exhausting and frustrating experience dealing with this branch.
- JBJohn BrownFeb 25, 20251.0Incredibly, Key Bank has staff manually enter (in 2025!) the information on Form 1099-INT, the bank's report of interest earned on an account, which is sent to the IRS. Whoever entered the information pressed the 8 key rather than the 5 key, as the two keys are one above the other on a computer numeric keypad. Now, after two phone calls and a meeting with my bank's manager, I will not be able to get a corrected Form 1099-INT. The phone agent told me to go to my bank and the manager told me to try another call again. My main concern is that if I report the correct amount of interest (lower than what the bank sent to the IRS), it may trigger a tax audit. But if I use the amount on Form 1099-INT, I will owe considerably more tax. I am stunned that a business can be this much of a mess. Based on my phone conversations, both of which were with unhelpful individuals who did not speak English well, I would not be surprised to learn that all the bank's accounting is outsourced to a considerably less developed nation.

This branch in particular, has proven themselves to be dedicated to customer service. Everyone knows me by name and asks how I am doing. They always brighten my day no matter what.
