- GMGe MarcusNov 17, 20251.0This is truly the worst bank and branch I have dealt with in my life. Brought in a mailer with $500 checking account bonus back in May 2025 to open, six months passed and I still have not received the promised bonus even after completing all requirements within the timeframe. The banker initially did not add the promo code, then when I brought this up with the branch manager Sherri, the back office proceeded to add the wrong promo code to my account, which made me ineligible to the bonus. It is still not resolved as of November 2025. Communication with this branch has been passive and abysmal, I kept following up with no results.
- JLJake LeisureJan 28, 20244.0I signed up for an account and was promised a bonus if I opened the account by a certain date and fulfilled certain requirements. I opened the account on the last day of the offer and received an email stating as much after I was told that I opened the account outside of the promotional window. After presenting the email showing the account was opened on the last day of the offer, they still refused to pay out the bonus. This was after I deposited many thousands of dollars which I was unable to collect interest on as they sat in a checking account waiting for the bonus that never showed. Terrible service. They could have earned a customer for life and but now I will be telling everyone I know to avoid this 2nd rate, 2-bit bank. Not to mention adding to the cacophony of bad reviews on Google. Smart business! Update: They sent me a letter 6 months later saying they reviewed my case and included a letter for the full bonus. Turns out KeyBank is much more of a stand up establishment than I gave them credit for. Well done.
